Mixed Use Space Design at 9 High Street

This project involved a change of use from commercial to residential classification, transforming the property into a mixed use space. Originally arranged over three floors with one room on each level, the building required significant restoration. Located within a nutrient neutrality catchment, we collaborated closely with the Peak Park Authority to ensure compliance with regulations. The existing structure suffered from extensive damp, damaged timbers, and a compromised roof. By providing effective architectural solutions, we worked with the builder to fully treat the damp issues, replace all damaged timbers, and install a new slate roof with roof lights to maximize natural light throughout the home.
